What these guides are for

Two kinds of question come up repeatedly around 4D results. The first is factual: what does this list mean, why does the Singapore result use different naming, why does a leading zero matter. The second is about the tools here: where records are stored, how the monthly totals are worked out, what a budget limit actually does.

These guides answer both, at the length the answer actually needs. There is deliberately nothing here about choosing numbers, because no honest guide on that subject can exist: draws are independent events and past results carry no information about future ones.
